Welcome to LMICS

LMICS is one of a network of Integrated Cancer Services across Victoria.

The Integrated Cancer Services are funded by the Victorian Government and were established in 2004 to facilitate the implementation of the Cancer Services framework for Victoria. At LMICS, our aim is to work with health services and the other Integrated Cancer Services to facilitate improvements in cancer services within the Loddon Mallee region to meet the needs of people with cancer.

REGISTER FOR THE EMPOWERING REGIONAL AND RURAL CONSUMERS TRAINING

OCTOBER 24 BUDA HOUSE CATLEMAINE

The Department of Health & Human Services (DHHS), in partnership with Cancer Action Victoria (CAV) and Loddon Mallee Integrated Cancer Services (LMICS) places significant importance on consumer advocacy. However, both DHHS and CAV recognise the specific challenges to participation, specifically for regional and rural people living with cancer, their families and carers.

To support a strong sustainable engagement and participation, a free, one-day workshop has been developed and you are invited to attend. This workshop has been developed after significant consultation and is based on the belief that those with experience of cancer are best positioned to contribute to influence and shape cancer services.
