LMICS has a number of projects relating to cancer which are either underway or have been recently completed. Some of these are detailed in the following table.

Cancer Diagnosis Information Pack Lyn Cherry To develop and implement the use of an information pack, for health professionals to provide to patients / carers when they first receive a diagnosis of cancer.

Research Project: Determining the Trajectory of Care and Experience of Regional Lung Cancer Patients Referred to a MDT Meeting Tracy Barber

(1) To examine the trajectory of care particularly in terms of the appropriateness of referral, the timeliness of referrals and other important milestones along the patient’s trajectory.

(2) To provide specific information of the gaps in management of the lung cancer patient’s care.

(3) To identify the patient’s experiences along the lung cancer pathway.
