LMICS 2017- 18 Grants Program

LMICS has allocated funding towards a grants program for organisations providing specialist and generalist cancer services to residents of the Loddon Mallee Region.

Project funds will be awarded for sustainable service development initiatives, which support the implementation of align to the following priority areas of the LMICS Strategic Plan:

  1. Support implementation of Optimal Care Project by developing systems for provision of information on treatment plans to patients in active treatment for cancer.

  2. Support implementation of Optimal Care Project by developing or improving formal shared care arrangements between acute and primary care systems.

There are three grant categories:

Grant Category 1

All areas of the Loddon Mallee Region:

  • Up to $80,000 is being offered.

Grant Category 2

Mildura sub region (Northern Mallee Primary Care Partnership Catchment area) including Ouyen and Robinvale:

  • Up to $80,000 is being offered.

Grant Category 3

Sub regional and local health services (excluding Bendigo Health) in the Loddon Mallee region (all LGAs excluding Mildura).

  • Up to $80,000 is being offered.
